‘Niyi Soyinka, ‘The Success Catalyst’ as he is fondly called is a polymath. He is a Life, Leadership & Business Coach, Trainer and Consultant. He is the Lead Strategist at BIGshot Consulting Ltd., a human resource development firm.
He is also a Radio Host, Motivational Speaker and Nation Builder. Niyi is a Chartered Personnel Manager and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute Personnel Management (CIPM) as well as the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). He is also an alumnus of the prestigious Daystar Leadership Academy, Lagos founded by Dr Sam Adeyemi.
Niyi holds an MBA with specialty in Human Resource Management. He has several years of experience in the banking industry and has facilitated trainings for members of staff of Federal Capital Development Agency (FCDA), Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) among others on subjects that include customer service, performance management etc. Other places he has conducted hand-on trainings for include, Click-On Kaduna, a Kaduna State Government programme in partnership with the World Bank Group and the Rockefeller Foundation to promote digital skills, Godson & Hanson Ltd, Café le Bugattii, Royal Delicia, GodShield Private School etc. In 2018, Niyi was part of the selected Mentors for the ‘Coca Cola Youth Empowered Initiative’, a training platform designed to help youths discover themselves, understand their strengths and developmental opportunities, as well as provide them a platform for meaningful interaction with business leaders and mentors.
Niyi is the go-to-guy wired to propel entities to discover, develop and deploy their potentials whether as individuals or as institutions. His focus has been to help clients build the bridge between their desires and destination.
He has also had a stint (facilitating) with Fate Foundation’s aspiring entrepreneurs’ digital programme in partnership with Facebook Nigeria and currently serves on the Business Advisory Boards of ENACTUS, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria; Well of Excellence and The Eye Opener Foundation (an NGO geared towards the emancipation of women and youths). He is also a Faculty Member on 5minutes.one one (a novel learning platform) where he serves as one of her leading mentors. With over 100 speaking engagements every year, he is in high demand as a trainer, leadership/life coach and change catalyst.
Niyi is on radio twice a week on 2 (two) stations in Kaduna (KASU 98.5 FM, 9.45am, Wednesdays & INVICTA 98.9 FM, Sundays, 12.30pm) and has had numerous testimonials in this regard. His weekly broadcast, ‘60 Seconds with Niyi Soyinka’ has gained massive viewings and had tremendous impact on people. Currently Kaduna state’s Co-ordinator of GEMSTONE (Generation Empowered Motivated and Stirred To Operate with Natural Excellence) founded by Mr Fela Durotoye, a non-governmental organization geared towards making Nigeria a most desirable country to live in. He has great passion for learning and passing on same. He hosts the premier Public Speaking and Effective Communication Master Class in the city of Kaduna that is helping individuals speak with power and overcome public speaking fear among others. Over 150 people have been trained by Niyi in this regards and still counting.
Niyi is a TEDx Curator and one of the team leads at The Transformational Speakers Hub, Northern Nigeria’s foremost speakers’ enclave. He is committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on Goal 1 (No Poverty), Goal 4 (Quality Education), and Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth)
He is married to Abiodun who holds a Masters in Personnel Psychology and a prolific Fashion Designer (@FeyiCreations). They are blessed with 2 amazing sons, General David & Ambassador Daniel.
